And the tic. And the tac
Just before the edge of the world, before the last cleaver. Fatal slip in final icy night. Just before silent fall.

And the tic. And the tac.

Dreary hours, workings of a bloodless heart, drag themselves along. Sarcophagus nailed to refluxing space, weighted with lead grey. 

And the tic. And the tac.

Disunited. Lonely. Discarnate arrhythmia. Intermittent fog.

Just before silent fall.

However, one step aside there is the teeming life. Purple and gold light. Softness of sun rays and dance hearts beating. Rough touch of conflicting feelings or glorious warmth of skins in unison.

Make one's farewells.
Last glare. Just before.
Before.
Silent fall.
